Welcome to EMBESS. By placing an order or browsing this site, you're agreeing to the terms below — we've kept them as straightforward as possible, but they matter, so please give them a read.

 

Who we are

EMBESS is operated by Hero Scale LLC, registered at 680 S Cache Street, Jackson, WY 83001, USA. While our company is registered in the United States, EMBESS sells exclusively to customers within the United Kingdom, and every order, delivery, and customer right described below is governed by the protections UK consumers are entitled to under UK law — our US registration doesn't change that.

 

Products and pricing

We do our best to ensure product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate at all times. Occasionally, a mistake slips through — a mispriced item or a product description that's out of date. If this happens, we'll contact you before processing your order and give you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. All prices are listed in GBP.

 

Orders and payment

When you place an order, you'll receive a confirmation email — this confirms we've received your order, not that a contract has been formed. A contract is only formed once we've dispatched your item, at which point we'll send a further confirmation. Payment is taken at the time of order and processed securely through our third-party payment providers; we do not store your card details.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example, in cases of suspected fraud, stock errors, or pricing mistakes — and if this happens, you'll be refunded in full.

 

Delivery

We currently ship within the United Kingdom only. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and are our best estimate, not a guarantee — delays with couriers do occasionally happen and are outside our control, though we'll always help resolve issues if they arise.

 

Returns and refunds

As a UK consumer, you're protected under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which gives you the right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason, without needing to justify it. Once you've notified us of your wish to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the item to us. Refunds are issued to your original payment method once we've received the returned item, minus original delivery costs where applicable.

Items should be returned unused, in their original condition and packaging where possible. This doesn't affect your right to return faulty or misdescribed items, which you're entitled to do regardless of this window under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

 

Faulty or misdescribed items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and details of the issue, and we'll sort it out.

 

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including product photography, written copy, logos, and design — belongs to EMBESS or is used with permission. You're welcome to share our content (tag us, we love seeing it), but it isn't to be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our consent.

 

Limitation of liability

We aim to provide a reliable, smoothly running store, but we can't guarantee the site will be free of interruptions or errors at all times. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for anything that cannot legally be limited or excluded under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

 

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, reflecting the fact that our customers and their statutory consumer rights sit within the UK, regardless of where our company is registered. Any disputes will be handled under UK jurisdiction, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
